The Book Of Boba Fett

Boba Fett is a fictional character and prominent villain in the Star Wars franchise. He is an unaltered clone of the Mandalorian bounty hunter Jango Fett. Unlike other clones, he was raised as Jango’s son and would later imitate his father by wearing a customized suit of Mandalorian armor.

In 1978, the character made his first appearance in The Star Wars Holiday Special. His theatrical debut came about in the second instalment of the original trilogy, Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back (1980).

During the original trilogy, Fett is employed by the Galactic Empire to capture the crew of the Millennium Falcon. He tracks the starship to Cloud City, where Darth Vader captures the crew and tortures Han Solo. For his contribution, Boba is awarded with the prize of claiming the bounty on Solo’s head, put out by Jabba The Hutt. In Star Wars: Episode VI – Return Of The Jedi, he falls into the Great Pit Of Carkoon on Tatooine while attempting to subdue Solo — seemingly meeting his end.

Since the original trilogy, Boba Fett has appeared in various forms of media: video games, books, and television series. Played by Temuera Morrison, the character stars in the Disney+ series The Book Of Boba Fett.
