Suicide Squad Merchandise

Join Amanda Waller’s team of coerced supervillains with Zavvi US’s wide range of Suicide Squad merchandise. Here you will find tons of products inspired by the comics and their many adaptations: DVDs and Blu-rays, statues and figures, clothing, homeware, graphic novels, and more.

Doing What Bad Guys Do

Originally, the Suicide Squad (also known as Task Force X) was created for The Brave And The Bold #25 (1959) by Robert Kanigher and Ross Andru, who introduced readers to Rick Flag Jr. and his team. John Ostrander, a writer for DC Comics, fleshed out the concept with Legends #3 (1987). His iteration established Amanda Waller, the government-funded overseer of Task Force X.

In the comics, the Suicide Squad operates as a black-ops team composed of various incarcerated supervillains. Each of these convicts volunteers to take part in high-risk missions, enticed by the promise of reduced prison sentences. However, to guarantee their cooperation, the team’s members are given neck-implanted bombs, which can be detonated at the first sign of betrayal.

Throughout the team’s history, many villains have been part of the team: Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, El Diablo, Savant, Bronze Tiger, Enchantress, Blockbuster, King Shark, the Thinker, Weasel, Javelin, Captain Cold, Count Vertigo, Poison Ivy, Black Adam, Sportsmaster, and many others.

In addition to their comic-book appearances, there have been a number of film adaptations. Director David Ayer took the helm of the first live-action attempt, simply titled Suicide Squad (2016), which starred Will Smith (Deadshot), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Jared Leto (the Joker), Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flag), Viola Davis (Amanda Waller), Jai Courtney (Captain Boomerang), Jay Hernandez (El Diablo), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Killer Croc), Karen Fukuhara (Katana), and Cara Delevingne (Enchantress).

In 2021, director James Gunn released a new film, The Suicide Squad, which acted as a soft reboot for the movie franchise. A few of the old cast returned — namely Kinnaman, Courtney, and Robbie — and they were joined by Idris Elba (Bloodsport), John Cena (Peacemaker), Daniella Melchior (Ratcatcher 2), Sylvester Stallone (King Shark), and David Dastmalchian (Polka-Dot Man).
