I’ve seen every version of this Film and I’m glad we got “The Final Cut”. It’s my personal favorite of all. Honestly, I think for most of us fans this Box set is probably the End Game or last Purchase of this film…at Least for awhile. Heck, I’ve lost count of how many box sets this one film has had, and each one has a unique place in the collector game…for me this is it. I’m really happy with the set. I don’t have a ton of collectable discs, but this is special for sure. The Disc itself is the best looking and Sounding It’s ever been. The disc is so good, in fact it’s like watching it for the first time. Aside from the discs themselves the collectibles included were very much appreciated. This End Game disc set does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It inspires a Film Event in your own home. Fantastic! Worth every Dollar!
Being this was my first of this line, I was very excited to truly experience the "Unwrapping" of this gem as it is a favorite of mine growing up and having seen it in theaters upon release, and countless times since. And even after reading the synopsis of this release and the "listed" Bonus materials/extras, my real hope was in the "And more". For this Price-Point, And, for a title being released in/through a New line of Upscale Collector's sets entitled "THE FILM VAULT", a Real Collector would 1) Expect to get EVERY Version of this movie put out, all Remastered on 4k, and not just the one. 2) The fact this is a Limited Edition series per title, the Crystal is a nice touch, but where is a Limited Edition replica of the Spinner, along with a couple of the Origami characters made and left by Gaff- there could be different ones per set. 3) A poster for each Version of the movie. This is a great set, and the 4k is the definitive experience, but, again, at this Price, a True collector would expect a bit more. Heck, if you decide to cover APOCALYPSE NOW, are you going to choose only One of the versions??? Probably not. Food for thought, and hope you decide to go back and revisit this BLADE RUNNER set to AT Least include all 3 versions in beautiful 4k HDR.
Saw this in theaters when I was 18. Never understood why I was the only person at an opening weekend Saturday matinee. Seeing it by myself made the movie experience more intimate. Later it becomes a classic 😉. This collection is super nice.
Box set is amazing. The etching on the rectangle plexiglass cube is gorgeous 😍. all the extras are Amazing 😍🤩. Great buy 😊
My boxset is great and arrived with no damage. Which is surprising as the boxes Zavvi are using are thin, and they’re not providing padding or cushioning of any kind inside the box. I’ve had damaged boxsets and steelbooks before, and also based on the last review, Zavvi, please package these things securely.
Apparently a 1 of 3000 box set costing in excess of 60 usd shipping from Great Britain to the USA apparently only warrants a paper thin box. Arrived, as you would expect, with some damage. I purchased this as more of an investment for my collection but that's out the window now.
From Laser Disc to Directors Cut, Final Cut and more. I've think, not sure, every version of this film. I received this in record time from pervious orders and UNDAMAGED. I feel for the review above that received his damaged. I feel your pain. From the looks of the package, it maybe had 1 more toss in it before destruction. Now I've put my faith in Zavvi and The Film Vault and ordered the Steel Books of LOTR. Pray for me. Cheers!
