After being sent to rescue a member of the Kree Empire who went undercover among the Skrulls, she is captured and imprisoned by Talos (Ben Mendelsohn). She eventually escapes and crash lands on Earth, where she comes into contact with Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg). Working alongside the two S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, Danvers discovers the truth behind her past.
