The Creators Of The Bearbrick

Medicom Toy Incorporated is a Japanese company that manufactures a variety of collectible items based on well-known franchises (from TV series, movies, video games, and comic books), including Garfield, Death Stranding, Breaking Bad, DC Comics, Ghostbusters, Child’s Play, Pink Panther, Pac-Man, Looney Tunes, Peanuts, Toy Story, Harry Potter, Tom & Jerry, The Boys, Jurassic Park, The Matrix, The Incredibles, and Evangelion — among others.

One of their most popular products is the Bearbrick (or Be@rbrick), a representation of a cartoon bear derived from the company’s previous Kubrick line, which features products that resemble LEGO and Playmobil figures. Equipped with nine core body parts — a head, hips, arms, torso, hands, and legs — they boast multiple points of articulation. Additionally, they are available in different sizes (50%, 70%, 100%, 150%, 200%, 400%, and 1000%), materials (such as wood, glow-in-the-dark plastic, and felt), and themes (Basic, Jellybean, Pattern, Flag, Horror, SF, Cute, Animal, Artist, and Hero).
