The Pioneers Of Pop-Culture Fashion

Founded by Danielle DiFerdinando (the company’s Creative Director), Danielle Nicole is a fashion brand that specialises in bags and accessories inspired by the world of pop culture. Today, their product line represents a variety of franchises, including Harry Potter, The Little Mermaid, Alice In Wonderland, Beauty And The Beast, Winnie The Pooh, Care Bears, and Star Wars — amongst others. Each item captures the unique aesthetic of its respective source material, incorporating elements of key motifs and characters, examples being Hogwarts school uniforms and Disney villains.

DiFerdinando started her journey in the fashion industry during early adulthood, studying at the Fashion Institute Of Technology, which is located in New York City. She acquired further insider knowledge by apprenticing with several European design houses, and this gave her the means to individually design and manufacture bespoke handbags.

Whilst interning at Bergdorf Goodman, DiFerdinando managed to impress the higher ups, who requested that she create a new line of cosmetic accessories. Happy to oblige, she commenced design work on new leather collections for Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdale's, and Lane Crawford. This preceded the eventual launch of her proprietary brand, which joined the scene in 2006, receiving critical acclaim from the likes of Vogue and Women’s Wear Daily.

Nowadays, the brand’s products are sold by major retailers and specialty stores, their global presence attracting the attention of celebrities such as Oprah, Rihanna, and Kate Hudson.
