Carnage Merchandise

Discover the power of the Symbiote with Zavvi US’s wide range of Carnage merchandise. Our products — including Funko Pop! Vinyls, LEGO sets, statues, clothing, and more — draw inspiration from the iconic villain’s many appearances in comics and film.

The Ultimate Insanity

Created by Mark Bagley and David Michelinie, Carnage made his first comic-book appearance in The Amazing Spider-Man #361 (1992). In the source material, Carnage is the villainous alter ego of Cletus Kasady, a sadistic serial killer. He first came into contact with the Symbiote after being imprisoned in Ryker’s Island alongside Eddie Brock, as he bonded with the offspring of Venom during Brock’s escape. Empowered by the Symbiote (which is considered to be much stronger than Venom), Kasady adopted the persona of Carnage and used his newfound power to commit countless atrocities.

He is best recognised as a villain of Spider-Man and Venom; however, he has also encountered a variety of Marvel Universe characters throughout his history in comics. One such character is the Sentry (Robert Reynolds), who ripped Kasady in half after he had led a killing spree in Manhattan.

The character also features as the primary villain in Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021), the sequel to Venom (2018). Actor Woody Harrelson takes on the role of Cletus Kassidy, having appeared in the end-credits sequence of the first film. Standing in opposition to Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy), he manages to escape from captivity after his failed execution, now empowered by a red-colored Symbiote. To protect his city from an unhinged maniac, Brock must face this new enemy head-to-head.
