Joker Clothing

Add some crazy to your wardrobe with Zavvi US’s wide range of Joker clothing, coming to you straight from Arkham Asylum. These unique fashion items have drawn inspiration from the Clown Prince Of Crime’s signature Color palette and motifs, so you can set yourself apart from the flashier members of Batman’s rogues’ gallery.

A Smile You’ll Never Forget

The Dark Knight has faced many deadly adversaries throughout his years of crime fighting — a flesh-eating crocodilian, a man with a heart of ice, an enigmatic puzzle master, and more — but few compare to the Joker, his archnemesis. Created for the debut issue of Batman’s solo title, he has remained at the forefront of DC Comics publications and their adaptations, and his actions within these stories have had drastic repercussions for the Caped Crusader and his supporting cast. Two prominent examples of Mr. J’s exploits are the murder of Jason Todd (the second Robin) and the paralysis of Barbara Gordon (Batgirl), both of these characters succumbing to the villain’s sadistic machinations.

Among the Joker’s numerous comic-book appearances, he has also been portrayed in live-action film by a variety of actors: Cesar Romero, Jack Nicholson, Heath Ledger, Jared Leto, and Joaquin Phoenix. The latter of these starred in a 2019 solo outing that told the origin story of Gotham’s clown-faced criminal. Audiences discover that before his eventual turn to villainy, he was an aspiring comedian making a living as a clown, subject to the cruelty of the city’s indifference. After a series of misfortunes, violent attacks and verbal abuse, Arthur Fleck — the character’s real name — finally snapped, embracing his uncomfortable laughing affliction and adopting his infamous persona.
