The officers become intrigued with Celliers' open defiance in the face of their old-world ideas about cowardice and shame. Composer Ryuichi Sakamoto is one of the world's best musicians. He creates music with a unique style that combines classical, symphonic composition, Japanese traditional sounds and experimental electronic music. The soundtrack also contains a vocal performance by David Sylvian, best remembered as leader of the popular U.K. rock band Japan.
