Created by visionary director George Lucas, Star Wars is an epic space-opera franchise. The first film, Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope, released in 1977.

The original trilogy follows Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), a young moisture farmer who has lives in seclusion on the desert planet Tatooine. With the help of Ben Kenobi (Alec Guinness), a former Jedi Knight, Luke learns the ways of the Force.

Following the conclusion of the original trilogy, which wrapped up with Star Wars: The Episode V – Empire Strikes Back (1980) and Star Wars: Episode VI – Return Of The Jedi (1983), LucasFilm released the prequel trilogy and the sequel trilogy.
