Was super excited to have this set.. was a great deal on the weekend I got it . Hard to find in stores. This was shipped fairly quickly.

Awesome LEGO set, fun to build three variations of the DeLorean. Zavvi shipped in protective box.

The beginning of the build is quite technical, with the second half being mostly decorative. Pay attention to the white and red ends of the chassis. These let you know what end to work on after the build becomes asymmetrical. I appreciated how they are using high-contrast parts to make it easier to build. Some steps seemed a bit weird (lay some plates down, then connect them with a plate under them), but nothing was wrong. There are *almost* enough pieces to prebuild all the accessories (why some were included - like 2 sheep crooks, but others were not - like a modified 1x2 plate, is a mystery to me). But, all missing parts needed to prebuild all accessories are easily sourced, except duplicate tires. This is a solid build with great details. I do wish they finished off the floor. However, it is not that noticeable unless you look.

I’ve been wanting this set since it first came out last year and I’m grateful I was finally able to buy it.

Been trying to get this kit at retail price for a while and was very happy when Zavvi had it in stock. This is a great kit with a lot of nice details, really enjoyable build and the finished model looks great. Nice display piece to add to the collection.
