This new Blu-ray of SILENT RUNNING never looked better. Bruce Dern as the last environmentalists trying to save the last forests sent into space. Word comes that they are to jettison all of the forests and return their ships to commercial usage. Dern throws a monkey wrench into that plan and eliminates the other crew men and heads out into deep space with the very last forest. Trying to hide from a rescue crew. Does he escape capture? See this Blu-ray to find out. One of the highlights of this film are the three robot drones Dern calls, Huey, Dewey and Louie played by three paraplegics who do an excellent job in helping Dern with his escape. Great extras. Comes in a steel book and a poster and postcard sized lobby cards, Excelllent.
