The Harry Potter: Wizards Unite Game Is Out Now

It is the moment Harry Potter fans have been waiting for since 2017, Harry Potter: Wizards Unite has finally been released.

The highly anticipated game was launched a day earlier on both iOS and Android in the UK and the US, much to the delight of excited Muggles!

Developed by the makers behind the revolutionary Pokemon Go, Niantic, the free-to-play augmented reality mobile game lets you cast spells, encounter legendary beasts and discover mysterious artefacts in real world locations.

People, creatures and artefacts from the Wizarding World, known in the game as ‘Foundables’, have started appearing in the Muggle realm following an event nicknamed ‘the Calamity’.

It’s your job as a member of the ‘Statue of Secrecy Task Force’ to ensure these ‘Foundables’ aren’t discovered by Muggles, breaking the ‘Confoundable’ spells which have sealed them.

Your journey will be a magical one which will see you meet and interact with familiar faces from the Harry Potter universe, including the boy who lived himself.

Similar to Pokemon Go, you can spend cash in game with in-app purchases including potions, ‘Dark Detectors’, ‘Runestones’ and gold.

While these are all optional, they do help reveal special items and aid you in Wizarding Challenges.

All you really need to play the game is an internet connection and then you can set off on your epic adventure!
