This year’s Oscar nominees were revealed yesterday and Todd Phillips’ smash-hit Joker leads the way with an amazing 11 nominations, including: Best Picture, Best Actor and Best Director.
Hot on its heels is Martin Scorsese’s The Irishman, Sam Mendes’ 1917 and Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, with 10 nominations a piece!
Bong Joon-Ho’s incredible movie Parasite broke into the Best Picture category, and received a total of six nominations, a rarity for a foreign film.
But who will win on the night? Will Joker sweep the board? Will there be triumph for Mendes’ WW1 epic 1917? We will find out on February 9th.
