Perfect for amateur gardeners, this Beanstalk Pod has a magical touch. The self watering beanstalk displays a special message on its beans once grown, from 'Smile' to 'Fun'. The beans grow in a pod with no soil, watering or even much gardening needed. To grow the beanstalk, simply add the water beads to the transparent growing pod, plant the seed and two weeks later a bean will have grown, containing a special message on the bean itself. The beanstalk pod used to plant in is transparent so you can see the whole growing process, start to finish. Its special design means it works as an incubator, allowing condensation to self water the system and the beans.
The water beads act as the soil, providing all the water and support needed for the beans to root. The beads are odourless and reusable, and come in various bright colours, which only adds even more visual interest to the product. Once water is added to the beads they expand up to 200 times their original size, and give all the suppport the beans need to root.
